2 Discussion Read the sentences below and try to figure out what the red words mean. 1. Je m’appelle Anne. J’ai 15 ans. 2. J’ai une soeur. Elle s’appelle Marie. Elle a 18 ans. 3. J’ai un frère. Il s’appelle Luc. Il a 14 ans. 4. Ma soeur et moi sommes petites et blondes. Nous sommes des amis. 5. Mon frère et mon père sont grands. Ils sont forts, aussi.

3 Sujets et Verbes – Subjects and Verbs  The subject of the sentence does the action.  The verb is the action.  Subject pronouns replace subjects that have been mentioned already. SujetVerbe Le professeurparle. The teachertalks. Pronom SujetVerbe Ilparle. Hetalks.
