Subjects and Verbs in English Eric walks slowly. The dog eats a lot. Laura is 13 years old. What is the subject of each sentence? What is the verb of each sentence? What part of speech are subjects?
French is the same way! Xavier écrit un poème! Loiseau chante une belle chanson! Lise lève sa main. Sujet? Verbe? The structure is the same! Dont be afraid that its in French!

Rappel! Reminder! Formal/Informal Formal Informal When you are speaking to people who are older than you that you dont know, you will want to use VOUS. Use VOUS when speaking to more than one person, regardless of age. – Kind of like Yall. When you are speaking to a person your own age or younger. Used between family members, even those older than you.
