5. The Marines head up north to play the Blue Jays in game 1 of this 3 game set. The Mariners jump on top early Ryan up with 1 out he doubles then Ryan takes 3 rd on the steal and Ackley he singles softly up the middle it’s 1-0. Bottom 1 now Escobar he singles 3 batters later Adam Lind up and he crushes this one to right got a chance and it’s gone goodbye baseball 2-1 Toronto. Carp leads off the 2 nd with a double then Figgins singles Carp takes 3 rd and Halman up the rookie delivers a 3 run shot to left m’s up 4-2 2 batters later Ryan he wants to join the Party he jumps on a sinker and watches it fly away to left field Ryan’s first as a member of the Seattle Mariners. 5-2. Bottom 3 rd now Ellsbury at the plate coming off a to homer game over the Orioles he dose it again a homer to right field a solo shot sox’s up 2-1. Hernandez comes to pitch the bottom of the 7 th first batter Saltilamacia he singles then 2 batters later Ellsbury singles Saltilamacia speeds around 2 nd he makes it to 3 rd easy. Then Pedroia draws a free pass bases loaded 1 out Gonzalez at the plate he hits a grounder up the middle Ryan can’t get it Ackley got a chance and just misses it 2 runs score Pedroia takes 3 rd. Felix is pulled Gray comes in on relief Then Youkils Doubles to left center Pedroia scores Gonzalez scores Carps throw is off line and into the dugout wall Youkils takes 3 rd on the error. Bottom of the frame now Beaven pitching first batter Crawford strikes out then Reddick pops out 2 down no one on, Variteck up he singles then Marco Scutaro up he hits a ball down the right field line and it’s grabbed by a fan so it’s a ground rule double the M’s catch a brake as Variteck most likely would have scored Then the all star center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury up he delivers with 2 outs both Variteck and Scutaro score 2-1 Red Sox on top. After that Eric Wedge makes a call to the bullpen David Pauly the former Red Sox comes in throws 2 pitches to Pedroia he singles, and then Wedge comes out again a call for Aaron Laffey. Gonzalez batting first pitch in the dirt both runners advance. Then Laffey throws a wild pitch it goes all the way to the back stop Ellsbury score 3-1 and that’s your final.
