These are 5reasons why plants are important. 1. Plants are important because they give us food, fibers, and cloth. 2.The plants are important because they make us coal, natural gas and gasoline. 3.Plants make light energy for us to use. 4.Plants give us oxygen. 5.Plants are important to the environment.

3 The parts of the flower. Flowers are the reproductive part of most plants. Flowers contain pollen and tiny eggs called ovules. After pollination of the flower and fertilization of the ovule, the ovule develops into a fruit Stems do many things. They support the plant. They act like the plant's plumbing system, conducting water and nutrients from the roots and food in the form of glucose from the leaves to other plant parts. Stems can be herbaceous like the bendable stem of a daisy or woody like the trunk of an oak tree. Most plants' food is made in their leaves. Leaves are designed to capture sunlight which the plant uses to make food through a process called photosynthesis The root is important because they help the absorption.

4 The flower produces fruit
The Plant Cycle The seed germinates The plant grows The plant flower The flower produces fruit The plant dies

5 What pollination is… Pollination is the transfer of pollen from a stamen to a pistil. Pollination starts the production of seeds. Why is pollination important… Pollination is very important. It leads to the creation of new seeds that grow into new plants. How does pollination happen… But how does pollination work? Well, it all begins in the flower. Flowering plants have several different parts that are important in pollination. Flowers have male parts called stamens that produce a sticky powder called pollen. Flowers also have a female part called the pistil. The top of the pistil is called the stigma, and is often sticky. Seeds are made at the base of the pistil, in the ovule.

6 1.I learned that Pollination is part of the plant cycle.
2.I learned that plant has a tiny egg called ovules 3.I learned that the white thing that is carrying the pollination 4.I learned that the plant goes though a process when making food called photosynthesis.
