10 Test & Evaluation Performance Proof Classification Materials Equipment
The Vessel including equipment, propulsion machineries and electrical installations will be built according to the rules and requirements of Korean Register of shipping. Materials All materials are to be used the products approved by KR or certified by KS, JIS These certificates are to be submitted to Owner and Classification Society. Equipment Major equipment according to Maker List will be used the products approved by KR and the certificates will be submitted to Owner and Classification Society Assembly & Erection inspection The inspection on the stage of assembly and erection will be performed self-checking, Class and Owner inspection and after that the inspection record will be submitted to Owner and Class . Non-Destructive Test In order to check hull tightness and conformity of weld part prior to the painting, NDT and Pressure test of each tanks should be performed and the inspection record will be submitted Owner and Classification Society. These inspection will be done according to the NDT procedure and tank pressure test procedure approved by Owner and Classification Society before inspection. Painting Inspection The painting work should be done according to Painting Plan based on the Procedure which has been recommended by Paint maker and approved by Owner. On the processing, Quality supervision by Paint maker and Owner inspection will be done and the inspection record will be submitted to Owner before the delivery.

11 Test & Evaluation Performance Proof Factory Acceptance Test(FAT) and Pre Shipment Inspection(PSI) • The FAT and PSI of Major equipment will be carried out according to builder’s production schedule under the witness of Owner representative at maker’s shop. • The builder will be informed Owner about the date and schedule of the FAT and PSI prior to the commencement of PSI and FAT. Inspection before the launching The inspection for Bottom Survey, Keel Sighting, Hull Dimension, Draft & free board mark will be done by Owner & Classification Society before the launching and the inspection record will be submitted to Owner and Classification Society. On Board Test All equipment and machineries should be inspected by Owner and Classification Society in order to confirm the operation and performance and the inspection record will be submitted to Owner and Classification Society. These inspections should be completed before the Sea trial. Sea Trial In order to confirm Ship Performance, Sea trial should be carried out under the witness of Owner and Classification and Sea trial report should be submitted to Owner and Classification Society. This trial should be carried out according to Sea trial procedure approved by Owner and Classification Society in advance.
