RegionConcern Maritime-Declining influence in national politics (population was small) -Businesses and banks were moving to Ontario and Quebec --new energy sources destroyed market for Maritme coal Prairies-frustrated by the National Policy -Famers were forced to buy expensive Canadian goods, but their products sold on the open market -Wanted Free trade

4 Wanted a new National Policy based on : Free trade Public ownership of Railways In the 1921 election, it won 64 seats mostly in Western Canada. It brought changes to Canada’s social policy.
