M ARTIN L UTHER KING JR ’ S EARLY LIFE Martin Luther king jr was born 1-15-1929 at noon He lived at 501 Auburn avenue, north, east,in Atlanta Georgia 1944 graduated from Brooker T, at Washington high school And went to Morehouse college at the age of 15 Graduates Morehouse college and enters the theological seminary. Went to Baptist ministry 2-25-1948 at the age of 19 He went to Boston university for graduates studies

M ORE INFO OF MLK ’ S EARLY LIFE Marries Coretta scoot and settles in Montgomery He received doctorate of philosophy in systematic theology in Massachusetts ON 6-5-1955 He was asked to lead the bus boycott on 12-5- 1955 He was elected president of Montgomery improvement association making him the official spokesman for the boycott On 11-13-1956 he went to the supreme court his best friend was white When school started they quit being friends because they went whites and blacks went to different schools

T HE GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF MLK He was leading the SCLC for the quality of black people to fight the government without violence He changed the world with his dream He took his death for freedom for even lives He went to college and got married and had a family and died for freedom of others He put an end to racism And that is why we celebrate his b- day

M LK ’ S GOAL [ HIS DREAM ] His dream was that his four children will live in a nation where you are not judged by your skin color but by your content and characteristics by who you really are inside not by your appearance by who you are and not what you appear to be For everyone to have an equal life To put a stop to racism

6. T HE DEATH OF MLK At 6:01 on 4-4-1968 a shot was dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr he was standing out side of his motel room on the balcony at the Lorraine motel in Memphis, Tennessee. Sprawled out on the balcony floor with his jaw and neck wounded. He was shot by a sniper’s bullet

T HE GREATEST CONTRIBUTION OF MLK Is he put a stop to racism He died for equal life for all No matter if you are tall or short or darker then you neighbor it matters what is in side of you It does not matter if you have blue eyes or brown He died trying to make a difference in the world That is why we celebrate Martin Luther King birthday
