Disorders of the Immune Mechanism Sarcoidosis: cells clump together and become granulomas situated within certain organs throughout the body. Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome: genetic mutation that causes WBCs to malfunction, increasing the body’s susceptibility to inflammatory diseases and other immunodeficiency disorders.
