3.  The deep sea angler fish is the most creepy-looking fish in the deep sea. It is quite possible the ugliest animal on the planet. The anglers head is almost as wide as the hole fish is long. The angler fish like many other fish is camofloge. It uses the rod on its head to get food. 

4. The angler fish’s habitat is about a mile deep. Every square inch is about 2,000 pounds! In the deep sea it is really dark, so most of the fish produce their own light. The angler fish is found in tropical seas all around the world.

5. The angler fish is high on the food chain because it has a rod that produces light. The rod lures the other fish in front of the angler fish and the angler fish eats the other fish. It can take down fish 2x its own size. There are not of fish lot of down in the deep part of the sea so they they don’t have a lot to worry about.

6. The males don’t have the rod on their head because they will latch onto the female The males bloodveins will become part of the females. The male will soon shrink down to all most nothing. The female can hold up to 5-10 angler fish. The female can not shake them off.
