2 LA Conservation Corps Our primary mission is to provide at-risk young adults and school-aged youth with opportunities for success through job skills training, education and work experience with an emphasis on conservation and service projects that benefit the community.

9 Proof of Success 750 Corpsmembers have completed non-credit coursework through LATTC 13/16 (81%) Corpsmembers enrolled in a closed 2013 Winter Term Speech 101 course completed with an average grade of B (3.0) Of the 26 Post-Secondary Success Initiative participants starting at LATTC in 10/11 or 11/12, 17 (65%) are still active on-campus, have transferred to another campus, or have completed a credential
