3. National Teaching and Learning Change Programme (NTLCP) was one initiative of this strategy. 5. QTLS and CPD Qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS) September 2007: all teachers and trainers required to register with the Institute for Learning (IfL)Institute for Learning New and unqualified teachers and trainers must have a recognised level-5 teaching qualification within five years (detailed regulations)detailed regulations CPD Full-time teachers and trainers must demonstrate 30 hours’ CPD per year; part-time ones must demonstrate a minimum of six hours

6. Harnessing Technology In March 2005, the e-strategy was published by the DfES A delivery plan for the strategy was published in January 2007 by Becta, who lead the implementation of the strategydelivery plan for the strategy This new vision of the e-strategy is: ‘that individuals maximise their potential through the personalisation of their learning and development’.

7. Strategic outcomes Practitioners exploit technology consistently to offer engaging and effective learning experiences There is greater choice in learning opportunities and modes for all learners Learners have increased motivation for engagement in learning Practitioners collaborate and share good practice and learning resources
