2. Intellectual Property is stuff that belongs to you like your words, your thoughts and stuff like that. Lets say you wrote a song that is yours. If someone stole it that would be illegal.

3. Copyright is that little symbol © above almost everything. It means that it is illegal to copy.

4. One thing I have learned is that it is illegal to download music online for free. It is called music piracy.

5. Another thing I have learned is that if you make something you have to give permission for people to copy.

6. Giving Credit to the Creator If you want to copy something you need to ask permission. If you are writing a song and you want to put a lyric that you have heard you need to put it in quotation marks.
