Science and Technology Technology and science are but two sides of a whole. Technology can be used in many different ways in the classroom. Technology can be used to illuminate the natural world or to simply allow students to be creative in how they interact with ideas.

Science and Technology The subject of elementary science may include many different topics and ideas, more then just video tapes, computers, and chemicals; technology can enhance environmental studies, electricity, or even endangered animals. Technology can help the students gain a better understanding of the subjects being presented to them.

The Many Forms of Technology in Science Technology can be everyday items that we find around the classroom. Pencil Sharpeners, Magnifying Glasses, Light Switches and Microscopes are just a few.

How we use Technology to make our lives easier Many lessons plans that teachers use involve: Televisions VCR’s or DVD players Computers Or even handouts that were printed on a copy machine.

Ever Changing Technology Technology appears to be growing at an exponential rate in today's world. Comparing the technology found the classroom 20 years ago compared to today. Predicting the technology we might find the classroom just 10 years from now.

Technology’s role in the Modern Day Technology allows people to access the news and current events of today's world faster then ever before. Through use of computers and the internet people are able to communicate with individuals and groups from all across the world who speak and read many other languages.

Technology can bring many people together Group lessons with computers can allow students to build the social skills that they will need later on in life. By putting students with different computer skills together, teachers can allow students to instruct their peers in its uses and abilities.

To Learn More about Integrating Technology and Science There are many websites that offer suggestions on how technology can be used to reinforce the science curriculum. For example: Research Paper Technology in Science Lesson Plans Organizing Animals with technology Scientific America
