2. Introduction
Buddhist Sutra revealed the concept of One Buddha One Heaven
This means that each Buddha will Create a World by which the energy of the Buddha will permeate and govern the world
The name of the Heaven for Maitreya Buddha is Doe Shuai Heaven

3. Introduction
What is the significance of Maitrya’s heaven and what is our spiritual relationship in reference to this heaven?
We will explore this subject of Doe Shuai Heaven in this discussion

4. Doe Shuai Heaven
Gautama Buddha had dictated two sutra in reference to Maitreya Buddha (the Maitreyha Ascension and the Maitreya Descension Sutra)
In the Maitreya Ascension Sutra, the Buddha declared that Maitreya will Ascend to the Doe Shuai Heaven and he will be the Master of that heaven
The Buddha proceeded to describe the beautiful scenes of Doe Shuai Heaven

5. Doe Shuai Heaven
According to the Buddha Doe Shuai Heaven is a place of magnificence and there are abundance of treasures, beautiful plants, magnificent beasts and wonderful music and entertainments
The Buddha also described the holy spirits that lived in Doe Shuai Heaven and they are tall, beautiful and magestic

6. Doe Shuai Heaven
One of the Great Vows of Maitreya Buddha is to bring Heaven to this world
So in reality, Maitreya Buddha is bringing Doe Shuai Heaven into this world
According to Spirit Transmission, Doe Shuai was already upon this world and all the transformation we are seeing in this world is a part of that descension

What does this mean to the members of the Temple Community?
According to the Spirit Transmission, the reason Maitreya Buddha can guaranteed us One-Life-Ascension is that fact that once we are a part of his Holy Mission, we will have a place in the Doe Shuai Heaven

8. Doe Shuai Heaven
Even those members who failed to cultivate internally, as long as the member is dedicated to the mission and continue to assist with the mission (through the contribution of Wealth, Dharma or Service) then he or she will have a place in the Doe Shuai Heaven and evade the Earth Path (which is the continuation of reincarnation)

9. Doe Shuai Heaven
However, those members’ spirits have to undergo rapid cultivation, which is very torturous, in a place called the Heavenly Prison
This rapid cultivation happens immediately after a person passes and the duration of this process is 100 days
This is the reason why a person must wait 100 days before returning for Karma Initiation Ritual

10. Doe Shuai Heaven
After the Heavenly Prison, the spirit can enter into the Doe Shuai Heaven
According to Spirit Transmission, there are two general areas in Doe Shuai Heaven, the Outer Court and the Inner Court
Most of the temple members will only be eligible to dwell in the Outer Court (only Transmission Masters and Temple Leaders will be eligible to enter the Inner Court)

11. Doe Shuai Heaven
The Outer Court provides a comfortable living and all the spirits perform daily prayers as well as singing activities and Dharma Discussions and Spiritual Instructions (very much like what we do at the temple)
The Inner Court is a more sacred place and very little is reported of the Inner Court, (except this is the gate entrance into the Heaven of Truth)

12. Doe Shuai Heaven
The spirits in the Outer Court are encouraged to continue their cultivation and so they can eventually enter into the Inner Court and reach the Heaven of Truth
Therefore, spiritual cultivation does not end at death, rather it continues until we reach the highest heaven (however, it is said that it’ll be harder to cultivate without a physical form because it’ll be harder to make a change)

13. Doe Shaui Heaven
The other aspects of Doe Shuai Heaven has to do with Maitreya Buddha’s mission to govern the world for the next ten thousand years (this is other aspect of Maitreya Buddha’s mission)
During the ten thousand years, members who are a part of Doe Shuai Heaven are eligible to take on the responsibility as the managers of particular region of the world

14. Doe Shuai Heaven
In that scenario, we become the guardian of a particular land of this world (on behalf of Maitreya Buddha) and this is very much similar to the kings and emperors of the previous era
However, we must demonstrate our spiritual achievement (by achieving a divine rank) so this world will be governed by Buddha and Bodhisattva and achieve ultimate peace

15. Conclusion
Maitreya Ascension Sutra and Spirit Transmissions have divulged the Heavenly Secret of the Doe Shuai Heaven
As members of Maitreya Buddha’s Divine Mission we are guaranteed a place in the Doe Shaui Heaven
By achieving our Divine Rank, we will be entrusted with the governing of this world for the next ten thousand years
