9. The headstrong, impenitent reversionistic believer could make something successful from his life but refuses to be corrected or taught. Cf. Prov 12:11; 28:19. Spiritual depravity !

10. Prov 28:19, “He who tills his land will have plenty of food, but he who follows empty pursuits will have poverty in plenty.”

11. It is the rejection, and therefore lack of, all of God’s Logistical Grace blessings.

12. Poverty due to moral failure brings disgrace. But poverty accompanied with virtue, cf. Prov 17:1; 19:1, such as from injustice, Prov 13:23, is not disgraceful.

16. Poverty can be the result of: 3. A propensity to talk instead of working, Prov 14:23.

19. “Neglects Discipline” PARA MUSAR No Doctrine in your soul resulting in no “faith-rest life,” and inability to carry out your responsibilities as a Royal Ambassador.

20. Instead, there will be self- induced misery with longings and desires not being met.

23. Two ways we demonstrate high regard for God’s Word:

25. Two ways we demonstrate high regard for God’s Word: 2. Do not pollute your soul with sinful cosmic viewpoint. Say no to sinful temptations and do not get involved with sinful cosmic living.

26. The diligent believer protects his soul by protecting the communication of God’s Word and resisting the temptation of sin and Satan’s cosmic system by “taking every thought captive”, 2 Cor 10:5.

27. The believer who holds God’s Word in high regard, “will be honored.” KABED, כָּבֵד “Will be honored, glorified, be rich.”

28. This means high social status, cf. Prov 3:9; 4:8; 8:18, and more importantly, being blessed and glorified by God in both time and eternity.

29. Cf, Prov 3:16, 35; 8:18; 1 Cor 3:10-15. Prov 3:35, “The wise will inherit glory, but shame will be the promotion of fools.”

30. The human heart in its folly ignores or rejects the suggestions and counsel of others and especially that of Bible Doctrine, having already determined for itself what is right, Prov 16:2, 25; 21:2.

31. Yet, response to correction, especially from God’s Word, is an important condition in determining relative success or failure in God’s Plan for your life, Prov 1:23, 25, 30; 3:11f; 5:9-14.
