6. Prov 13:13 The reversionistic believer despises God’s word, wants nothing to do with it for whatever reasons, as does the unbeliever in their unregenerated state.

7. Regardless of their thoughts towards God’s Word, they are still held accountable to God’s Word, either in judgment for the unbeliever or discipline for the believer, Prov 1:24-27; 19:16; Heb 12:25.

8. Prov 19:16, “He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is careless of conduct will die.”

9. Heb 12:25, “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.”

10. Heb 4:12, “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

11. John 12:48, “He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.”

12. John 3:18, “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

13. 1 Cor 11:31, “But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.”

16. The Contrast! The believer who honors and respects God’s Word in their life will be rewarded. 1 Cor 3:10-15; 2 Cor 5:10; Rev 2-3.

17. 1 John 2:28, “Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him.”

18. Psa 119:161-162, “Princes persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of Your words. 162 I rejoice at Your word, as one who finds great spoil.”

21. By learning and applying God’s Word to our lives we will avoid many of the dangers and pitfalls of sin and Satan’s cosmic system, which in it self is a blessing; not having to endure self induced misery and/or Divine discipline.

23. Prov 13:15 The application of Bible Doctrine, (good understanding), results in blessings, (favor), for time and eternity. Cf. Prov 16:22; 13:14

25. The Contrast! The rev. bel. will be over- whelmed by sin and the cosmic system, perpetually living in it here on earth; being bound up in their sin and indebted to the Word of God, vs. 13a.
