2. History of Ruse  Ruse is a city with 20 centuries of history which began with the construction of a Thracian settlement in Roman times. Later it was called Sexaginta Prista. Ruse is a leading cultural center and the largest city in the Principality.  Photos of the old city of Ruse.

3. The geography and climate of Ruse  Ruse is the fifth largest city in Bulgaria. It is located in the north of Bulgaria on the bank of the Danube.  The climate in Ruse is continental, which means really hot summers and cold and windy winters. Springs and autumns are with average temperatures like 17 to 22C.

4. The Theatre ''Sava Ognyanov''  Drama Theatre "Sava Ognyanov"- Ruse is one of the most prestigious proffesional groups in the city. This recognition is gained through the good performances.

5. The Freedom Monument  The Monument of Freedom in Ruse was designed in the early XX century by the Italian sculptor Arnoldo Zocchi and was built by George Kiselinchev. Over the time it acquired importance as a symbol of the city and is part of the crest.

7. International festival "March music days" An international festival of classical music. It takes part in the second half of March. Today the festival is a meeting place for artists and orchestras of the world's musical elite.

8. The carnival in Ruse The carnival has been celebrated since 2001. Rays of people leave from three different locations and gather in the city center around three different scenes - for young children, folklore and main. The program consists of dancing, competitions, concerts and fireworks for end.

9. International literature festival International literature festival takes place in Ruse."Elias Kaneti“ has been organizing it since 2008. The festival includes literature reading and different performances.

10. Folk Festival "Golden fiddle." It's one of the oldest in Bulgaria forums for traditional culture. The celebration is held in two thematic sections - processed and authentic folklore. It’s held in June.

12.  Our school opened in 1961/1962 school year and is the first outside the capital Russian Polytechnic High School "Maxim Gorky".  In 1981, the school grew into a single secondary polytechnic school. Adopted the first first-graders who study Russian.  In 1991, as a result of shown interest in foreign languages ​​ secondary school classes were opened with intensive study of English, German, French, Spanish, Italian.
