21 Degree Apprenticeships: Challenges for the University in developing new degree apprenticeships. Cultural: Getting over the stigma of the word ‘apprenticeship’ and the notion of equivalence to traditional honours degrees Recognising/identifying benefits to existing programmes in terms of curriculum and employability. Starting the process: Developing a ‘framework’ for a programme that will work for an employer, professional body, Govt. accreditation agency.
