2. 1.Pick a disaster related to this unit -Pre-research on library resources -Sign up with your teacher (you can not have the same disaster as another group) 2.Read at least 2 articles on your disaster (1 per person) -What happened? -List of impacts on global society (think about the rubric) -Write down the citation for each article on a separate sheet of paper. 3.Present -What happened -Impacts (negative? positive? global? local?)

3. Teacher Info: -Add global impacts to a padlet (one padlet for each type of disaster) -After discussions, take one global impact and walk through what things would be needed meet that need (example - tourism would need infrastructure, jobs, housing, etc.) -local and regional and global issues -different perspectives (good and bad)
