2. Inventor: Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak They created the Apple company in 1976. Steve Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California, but was adopted as an infant and raised in Los Alto, California. Stephen Gary Wozniak was born on August 11, 1959 in San Jose, California. Jobs created the idea and convinced Wozniak to join the team. The first Apple software was generated in Jobs’ family garage, in 1976.

3. Invention: Apple Incorporated The first Apple computer was the “Apple Is,” and it was sold for $666. The “Apple Is,” was the first single-board keyboard and also had video interface. In 1977 Jobs and Wozniak introduced the Apple II, which had over 1,500 applications.

4. Apple Inc (Continued) Apple computers went public in 1980 and became the most popular computer company. Jobs eventually drifted from the company and started a new company called, “NeXT,” and tried to compete with Apple, but failed miserably. He sold the “NeXT” software to Apple, and when Jobs returned they created the Mac book.
