2 Outcomes Administrators will understand requirements for staff professional development and opening day protocol. Administrators will understand ESY requirements for students with an IEP. Administrators will understand the attendance/withdrawal policy. Administrators will be able to complete teacher/staff observations. Administrators will be able to use the STARS database and SILK effectively. Administrators will understand payroll procedures.

8 Set Up Day Be sure to have a sign-in sheet for Payroll. Teachers, paraeducators, behavior interventionists, clerical staff, and nurses are to attend and will be compensated for 2 hours. Additional Adult Assistants will start on July 6.

10 Special Education Services 1.Create and print an Acknowledgement Form for each student. 2.Review the IEP with each person providing services and supports to the student and have them sign the Acknowledgement Form. 3.Generate and send home Third Party Billing registration/parent permission forms. 4.Submit TPB Encounter forms for July. 5.Complete and send home progress reports on goals identified for ESY. 6.Send all forms to the home school for 2015-2016 at the close of ESY.

12 BEFORE Transportation: Know your dispatchers and contact information. Contact your dispatcher with any transportations concerns or questions. DO NOT give out transportation’s phone number. It is the administrators responsibility to resolve all problems with parents and transportation.

21 By the Last Day Progress Reports are mailed to parents/guardians and to the 2015-2016 site of service. Any student specific materials are returned to the 2015-2016 site of service. All ESY materials should be repackaged and stored at the ESY site (to be determined by ESY administrator and hosting school). Classrooms should be returned to original condition.
