She had a glance at it and said carelessly. She went on with her conversation, absent- mindedly took one. She ate the salmon. She talked happily of art and literature. But I wondered what the bill come to. “Humorist!” she cried merrily, jumping into a taxi. “ You’re quite a humorist!” I watched her eat them in large mouthfuls.
