Cancer:  Esophagus  Throat  Liver  Breast

4 Drinking is causing the following problems with college students:  Fatality: There is a total of 1,825 college students that die each year between the ages of 18 and 24 from alcohol related injuries.  Assault: 690,000 plus students have been assaulted between the ages of 18 and 24 by a fellow student due to the assailant’s drinking.  Sexual Misconduct: Beyond 97,000 students are victims of alcohol-related sexual assault or date rape.  Physical Harm: Unintentional injuries account for over 599,000 students between the ages of 18 and 24 injuries while under the influence of alcohol.  Scholastic Complications: 25 percent of all college students document having problems focusing on school due to consuming too much alcohol.  Health and Risk of Suicide: Over 150,000 students form health issues related from drinking alcohol and 1.2 and 1.5 percent of these students admit to have tried to commit suicide due to drinking or drug use.
