2. On Easter day the Italians give chocolate eggs. The Catholics eat (breakfast or lunch) the boiled eggs blessed by the priest during the religious function. The eggs are decorated and used to adorn the table and houses too.. The eggs symbolize the life and the rebirth, just like the Spring in which we celebrate Easter. At school the children celebrate the arrival of Spring. The children play with various techniques, trees and flowered fields, eggs, chicks and bunnies. The eggs can be used to prepare some presents. The eggs can be used entire (emptied and decorated). Otherwise you can use the broken shells of eggs to make mosaic or other stuff.
