We will NOT use titles such as “prof” or “professor” –(use what the University has on file for names. e.g.: we will use Anthony Amorose, not Tony Amorose) –http://www.ilstu.edu/home/search/http://www.ilstu.edu/home/search/ –Can be added sequentially (don’t link)

29 Items Templates Authors – Single Author Authors – More than one Author –Use "et al." after the first author's name (For Catalogers: Is an additional clue that these are reserve records.) e.g.: Kinsolving, C; et al.

30 Items Templates Authors – Single Author Authors – More than one Author Titles –Initial English language articles (A, An, The) will NOT be used. –If a title starts with a number, we will use that number –If a title starts with a Roman Numeral (X, I, V, etc.) we will file by that letter

Introduction, and other such title headings – follow by a space & name of book in parentheses, e.g. Introduction (From memory to written records).
