1 Vocabulary list 6 Definitions, Parts of Speech, and Example Sentences

2 To Expropriate (verb) DEF: To deprive of possessions or property rights. To distribute someone’s possessions to others. RELATED PARTS OF SPEECH: Expropriated, adjective Expropriation, noun EX. SENTENCE: Capitalists were shot, and their land expropriated to the state during the revolution.

3 Stratified (adj) DEF: Arranged in layers. RELATED PARTS OF SPEECH: Stratification, noun Stratify, verb EX. SENTENCE: The society is stratified, and very rigidly stratified, on what at first appear to be hereditary lines.
