11 Research Assessment Exercise 2008 Results The Research Power Index, which measures quality and quantity of research, puts Queen’s in the UK top 20 11 subject areas are ranked within the UK top 10 and 24 within the UK top 20 for research All areas had research assessed as world-leading (4* - the top grade available) 25 of the 38 Units of Assessment submitted had 50% or more of their activity recognised as world-leading or internationally excellent
