5 Portal Log-in Login using the following information: (Use your student ID number) Example: 468719 (first initial)(last initial)(mmddyy) Example: jh040700 ###### FLmmddyy

6 Portal Reports Portal Reports 1) Click “Reports 2) Click “DPS Transcript”

7 Locate the GPA and test scores section (for college entrance test scores.) GPA & Test scores are used to determine eligibility for college and college scholarships.

8 The importance of your Junior Year Grades, Attendance, GPA o The grades from this year are the scores colleges will see first in the fall when you apply to colleges and submit your transcripts College Entrance Tests o Students should take the PSAT in October if they would like to pre-qualify for National Merit Scholarship and prepare for the SAT o Students will take the ACT in April

11 The test assesses the academic skills that you’ve developed over the years, primarily through your course work. The academic skills measured are considered essential for success in high school and college: Critical Reading Mathematics Writing Skills

12 Take the practice test in the Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT. Understand scoring and “educated guessing.” Familiarize yourself with the test’s format, questions types, and directions.

14 Add up your total credits earned. At this point, you should have earned 120 credits to be considered “ on track to graduation.”

17 Naviance 4-Year Course Plan Open a new tab and log-in to Naviance using the following Username and Password Student ID # mmddyy Click, “Log In”

18 4-Year Course Plan 1) Click the “courses” tab 2) Click “manage my course plans”

19 4-Year Course Plan 1) Click the pencil to edit your current plan 2) Select one of the requirements to the left to view all available courses 3) Using your transcript as a guide, edit your 9 th, 10 th, 11 th, & 12 th grade courses. Delete classes you did not take or pass. Add all classes you are scheduled to take this semester and plan to take next semester.

20 4-Year Plan Credit Check Click “review & finalize” to review your course plan Check to see that the credits in your plan meet the credits required for graduation.
