Update Post-secondary Workforce Readiness Goal I want to graduate from high school with good grades and then go to college to get my bachelors degree in computer science, so I can hopefully move to Seattle, Washington, and work for Amazon as a Computer Programmer.

PSAT/NMSQT ACTSAT When: Sophomore or Junior Year Scholarship Opportunities Students in 11th grade may be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship program and other programs that use PSAT/NMSQT scores. SAT Advantage The PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT have the same format and evaluate the same skills. PSAT/NMSQT students also get a custom SAT study plan based on their results. Feedback on Strengths and Weaknesses After the test, students receive feedback on how ready they are for college and access to tools that help them improve. When: Spring Junior Year at Niwot HS, Senior Year on your own Math: Up to Trigonometry Science: Charts and experiments Reading: 4 passages, one each of prose fiction, social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences Writing: One optional essay, points awarded when certain criteria are met (not offered through Niwot). No When: Spring Junior Year, Senior Year on your own Math: Up to basic geometry and algebra Science: None Reading: Sentence completion, short and long critical reading passages.
