5 When a woman becomes pregnant, she experiences many small changes in her body: Some of them are very easy to detect while others are not. Some of the most common early indicators that a woman is pregnant are a missed or abnormal period, changes in libido, soreness and enlargement of the breasts, nausea, vomiting, excessive urination, and fatigue. Later on in her pregnancy she may have symptoms such as Montgomery's tubercles (small goose bump like raised areas on the areola of the breast), fetal movement, colostrums from the breasts, stretch marks, enlarging abdomen and uterus, and Braxton-Hicks contractions. Braxton-Hicks contractions are relatively painless contractions experienced throughout pregnancy that are not associated with going into labor. A woman usually experiences more Braxton-Hicks contractions as her pregnancy progresses. It is important to remember that even if you are experiencing a few of these symptoms, this does not necessarily mean that you are pregnant. Some of the early indicators mentioned above are also commonly present during a woman's monthly mensus. However, if you are experiencing multiple symptoms and believe that you may be pregnant you should see your doctor and have a professional pregnancy test.

7 Miscarriage Also known as spontaneous abortion, happens when a pregnancy terminates by a way of natural causes. Miscarriages occur before the fetus can survive on its own. Many women do not even realize that they have experienced a spontaneous abortion because it happens so early in the pregnancy. A sign of an early miscarriage could appear as a menstrual period that is heavier than normal. Miscarriages that take place later during the pregnancy could result in uncomfortable cramping and intense bleeding. But then again maybe the baby was not meant to be born and that was its destiny.
