3 Blight: Verb- To check or destroy the growth of. Noun- Something that impairs growth or causes ruin.

4 The snowstorm blighted my hopes for an early spring.

5 Blithe: Adjective- Merry and carefree. Overly unconcerned, reckless.

6 She had a blithe and sunny personality that made her very popular.

7 Boisterous: Adjective- Noisy and rowdy.

8 On the day before Thanksgiving, all of the classes were extra boisterous.

9 Bombastic: Adjective- Pompous or inflated in language.

10 The teacher’s lecture was bombastic, consequently we didn’t understand it at all.

11 Boorish: Adjective- Rude or unrefined.
