5 INDIAN TELECOM INDUSTRY The telecom industry in India is growing at a very high speed and the majority of the growth is contribution by the wireless or mobile segment. The number of telephone subscribers in India is (approx.)874.68 at present out of which around 94% are prepaid, making India one of the world's largest markets for prepaid topup. According to estimates, every month recharges worth 1.75 billion USD are sold in India. Most of these are sold through distribution networks created by the mobile carriers. The growth of rural subscribers(2.06%) is higher than the urban subscribers(1.27%). 10 SRICO BUSINESS PROCESS When a new SDP is appointed, all existing SRICO SRPs (if any) in his territory will be transferred. The SDP has to further expands his business by appointing new SRPs to do the business. When a SDP appoints new SRP, he will have to send the membership form to the head office. As soon as the membership form is received, SRICO would activate the new SRP to operate his account. The key role of the SDP is to provide balance / load to the SRP’s against payment from him. For the SDP to be able to provide balance/load to the SRP, he will need a balance with SRICO, which he gets by depositing money in SRICO Bank A/C,this is called Trading Balance. SRICO would pass on a margin to the SDP and SDP would transfer the balance to SRP for recharge.

11 SRICO SDP SCOPE OF WORK Appoint new SRP’s to do the Business --Key Work. Provide Prepaid Recharge Balance to the SRP falling under the SDP jurisdiction. To service all the SRP’s under him, without any prejudice. Revive those SRP’s, falling under his jurisdiction, but not doing business for some reason. Assist the SRP’s in getting their complaints resolved in coordination with the company depts. when required. Provide suggestions to the company on: o Specific schemes that he may want to run for his market o Local market promotions o Market expansion, etc.

12 HOW IT WORK’S It’s Very Simple,Fill up the SRICO Retailer Point Membership Registration Form along with 1 photo(Passport Size),Xerox copy of Voter ID and Ration Card. In case of non availability of Voter ID any of the Photo ID and Residence Proof are enough, Xerox copy of Trade License. The same will be verified & certified by the Distributor & will be sent to Head Office.
