1. Mass and Weight Fable By: Xxxxx Xxxxx

2. Normal Day… Or is it?? It was a normal Saturday morning. The Grayson Family was eating breakfast, while Mason went out to get the mail for the week.

3. Strange mail When Grayson returned from the mail, he said their was a strange letter. So it was blank on the outside except for the picture of the moon, and a stamp. So they decided to open it.

4. We’re going to the moon?! When they opened it, Mr. Grayson looked very surprised. When they all read it Hailey exclaimed “We’re going to the moon?! We’re going to be transported from our house to the moon in 2 hours?! This isn't true!” “ But it is,” said Grayson, “It says: Press this arrow and the countdown will begin, if not pressed within an hour of opening, we will become space dust…” They stared at each other and at the letter back and forth.

5. T-minus 2 hours… Mrs. Grayson so panicky did not find any other choice so she pressed it! It started counting ↓ down ↓. Hailey screamed “WHY???” and ran to her room with an extra large garbage bag. “Where do you think she’s going?” asked Mason Mr. Grayson replied “It’s another Hailey Nervous Attack, she gets all her clothes, shoes, technology, ‘important’ stuff with her in case of actual emergency.” Then they ran upstairs with an extra large garbage bag!

6. Mass and Weight “Okay so we have 10 mins. Left, and I found out that we weigh 1/6 of what we weigh here on Earth, so does that mean I’m going to turn really tiny??” questioned Hailey. While they gathered their final things, and looked at Hailey like a weirdo, space suits appeared on them.

7. Off to the Moon!! The just like that all you see is darkness, a really tiny moon and distorted versions of Mason, Hailey, Mom, and Dad. They traveled towards the tiny moon, getting bigger and bigger and tremendous speeds, almost as fast as light. Feeling weightless, queasy, and dizzy from spinning in space they become human asteroids.

8. Getting there They think they are going to die, but then a camouflaged mattress saves them. When they land, Hailey gets up first. Once up, she bounces around a bit, and pulls out flag from her garbage bag and claimed that side of the moon for herself before anybody else could get up. Hailey

9. Gravity In Action Once Everybody got up, Hailey noticed her weight change, and how easy it was to jump. She went and experimented with this, then asked her father, “Why is it so easy to move, and jump unlike on Earth?” He answered “ Well gravity pulls us down on earth, to keep things stable, and since the moon is smaller less weight to pull down on us, so much easier movement.”

10. Mass And Weight: Comparison “But Dad, I can’t weigh less,” remarked Mason, “I don’t have less of me, and I can’t weigh less if I don’t lose the weight, or I get smaller. Can I?” His dad replied, “Well of course you can Mason, Gravity owns your weight, by how much something pulls you down. If we get pulled down more than we do on earth, you would weigh more. And in the moons case we weigh less due to the size of the planet.”

11. Gone Back Home But with that remark they hurled back to Earth same way they got their, bags and all. They Landed into their home through the chimney and with out a space suit. Nobody would ever find out how they traveled. But little did they know that they were in for another trip next week… TO SATURN

12. You May Wonder… Now, how did they get there? Everybody deserves a chance to get to know space, or so the A.M.G.I.O.S thinks. AMIGOS stands for Alien Mass + Gravity Institute Of Science. They think that seeing, is believing.
