7 Sixth Form Curriculum & Entry Requirements Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre Striving for Excellence Mixture of A level and BTec Courses New additional subjects for September 2016: AQA Applied Business Level 3 Level 3 Cambridge Technicals in IT Level 3 Cambridge Technicals in Performing Arts Edexcel Music Technology A Level Minimum 4 A*-C at GCSE To take many subjects at AS/A level there are certain desired requirements. See brochure & application form for further details. Courses will run subject to viable numbers.

Most students will choose 4 subjects to study in Y12. 3 subjects will be studied at A level (2 year course) 1 subject will be taken as a stand alone AS level qualification in May 2016.
