2. From my research into some films of the genre Psychological Thrillers some of them seem to have a major company helping distribute such as Warner Bros and Paramount. Also these types of companies may be willing to help distribute this film as they have the help of some major Hollywood stars which would help promote and distribute further. However there are some psychological thrillers that had a smaller production company help distribute. This may be because there wasn’t as big actors staring in the film.

3. For my product I feel it would be necessary to have a smaller company distributing my film. Because there are no world stars appearing in my film this would mean that I wouldn’t get the backing from major Hollywood production companies. So a smaller company would be more beneficial helping distribute my film. Also, a smaller film company is more appropriate as psychological thrillers is quite a small genre without many films being made specifically for that genre, because of this major Hollywood companies would not be interested in distribute the film. 4. This would then mean that I would have to go to smaller companies for advertising, this could be such things as a small national newspaper for nationwide promotion of the film. For further promotion I could use social Medias. With social Medias such as Facebook and twitter, I would be able to promote and publish my product online where people would be able to see it. Also I could use YouTube to help aid promotion and distribution. On YouTube I would be able to publish trailers and other things associated with the film. Along with the aid of social media, this film could be posted and shared distributing the film further.

5. Other forms of promotion and distribution could be using other Medias such as television to help for distribution. For a little help I could take it to a small television company (such as more4) and ask them to show the trailer on their channel. This could help promotion and distribution because if people were to see the trailer they would then pass it on by telling people about it. This would then gather the attention of bigger television companies which would then want to show the trailer.
