3 Teaching Career 1909 to 1912: University of Missouri(director of physical education for women) and Chicago’s Teacher College(associate director of physical education) 1912 to 1946: University of Wisconsin- Madison(director of physical education for women)

4 Contributions to our profession Miss Trilling helped to form the Athletic Conference of American College Women. Helped to organize women’s sports Helped to develop undergraduate degree of physical education at Wisconsin In 1924, the master degree program of physical education at Wisconsin was developed Helped to develop dance education Helped to develop the Women’s Division of the National Amateur Athletic Federation

5 Awards 1930- Blanche M. Trilling scholarship at University of Wisconsin was established 1931-Honor Fellow Award of the American Physical Education Association 1940- Honor recognition of the University League of Madison for her achievement at the University Of Wisconsin 1947- Luther Gulick Award
