Why Scrubbers are used in Dyes Spray Dryers 1.Product fines are generated during the Spray Drying Process 2.The quantum of Fines depends on several Factors like Type of Atomization, Feed Properties like Feed Slurry solid concentration, Configuration of dryer etc 3.Product Fines are carried out with the Drying Air Leaving the Spray Chamber 4.Normally Cyclones are provided for removal of the Product fines. 5.The Separation of the Fines depends upon the Efficiency of the cyclone which itself depends on the Cyclone Design and Dust Properties. 6.Due to Low effeciency of Existing Cyclones, a portion of the dust is carried over with the exhaust air to a Scrubbing System. 7.The Scrubbing System is supposed to remove these Particles and exit clean air to the atmosphere.

Advantages of Aksh Two Stage Scrubbing System Vs Existing Single Stage Scrubbing System 1.Aksh Two Stage Scrubbing System provides Low Velocity Profiles, so as to ensure no carryover of Color Droplets 2.Velocities maintained in Existing Scrubber Droplet Separators are quite high resulting in Color Droplet Carryover through the Exhaust Duct. 3.Aksh Two Stage Scrubbing System has 2 Stages of Droplet Separation which ensure 85-90% of Colour Droplet Separation while Existing Scrubbers have only One Stage. 4.Tests Reports have confirmed a Maximum SPM Concentration of 45 mg/Nm3 in Spray dryers with Aksh Two Stage Scrubbing System whereas in Existing Scrubbers the SPM concentrations are much higher.
