7 ‘Read It and Reap’ Rewards Program – Submit your story idea – Those with news value will be developed into professionally written trade articles – GE’s public relations agency will work to place your story with the trade press If your story is accepted for trade publication you receive a $100 certificate to the GEAR rewards website! – Internal stories will be developed and placed, earning you bragging rights and positive exposure for your efforts!

8 How to submit a story idea Visit the Commercial Communications section of the PGSPlace intranetCommercial Communications Complete the “Submit Your Story Idea” online form located in the Public Relations box (under “Story Development Tools” dropdown menu) That’s it! Select the “Communications” link in the Functions section Select “Submit Your Story Idea” in the PR section
