Our Goal at Ruth Mercer Elementary School is for every child to be reading proficient or advanced by the end of second grade.

Ruth Mercer Elementary Title I Educators Rhonda Reedy and Shelly Paxson Kindergarten 23 Students were served in Title I By the end of Kindergarten 87% of the students were reading Proficient or Advanced as scored by the DRA2 Reading Assessment.

1 st Grade Reading Grade Level Expectations Fall DRA2 Score of Level 3 or above Spring DRA2 Score of 16 or above
