2 Our Goal at Ruth Mercer Elementary School is for every child to be reading proficient or advanced by the end of second grade.

3 Kindergarten Reading Grade Level Expectations Winter DRA2 Score of Level 1 or above Spring DRA2 Score of 3 or above

4 Ruth Mercer Elementary Title I Educators Rhonda Reedy and Shelly Paxson Kindergarten 23 Students were served in Title I By the end of Kindergarten 87% of the students were reading Proficient or Advanced as scored by the DRA2 Reading Assessment.

5 1 st Grade Reading Grade Level Expectations Fall DRA2 Score of Level 3 or above Spring DRA2 Score of 16 or above

6 Ruth Mercer Elementary Title I Educators Rhonda Reedy and Shelly Paxson 1 st Grade 36 Students were served in Title I 22 Students were served in Reading Recovery By the end of First Grade 49% of the students were reading Proficient or Advanced as scored by the DRA2 Reading Assessment.

7 2ndGrade Reading Grade Level Expectations Fall DRA2 Score of Level 16 or above Spring DRA2 Score of 24 or above
