RxRx Hydrogen Peroxide 6% 250 ml D.W (freshly prepared) ad 1000 ml Prepare 100 ml Calculations X 0.1 25 ml 100 ml Procedure: 1.Measure 25 ml of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) by 100 ml measuring cylinder. 2.Complete the volume to 100 ml with D.W. 3. Mix well and transfer to amber glass bottle with dropper. Storage: amber glass bottle with dropper

3. Uses : As an ear antiseptic. Role of each ingredient: H2O2: Active ingredient (disinfectant) H2O2: Active ingredient (disinfectant) Water: Vehicle Water: Vehicle 2-3 gtt a.u TID or u.d Sig.: 2-3 gtt a.u TID or u.d 2-3 drops 3-4 times daily Dose: 2-3 drops 3-4 times daily

RxRx Icthamol 100 gm Glycerol ad 1000 gm Prepare 100 gm Calculations X 0.1 10 gm 100 gm Procedure: 1.Weigh 10 gm of icthamol & put it in A glass mortar and triturate well. 2.Add 90 gm of glycerol, then mix well until complete dissolution (dissolution with the aid of gentle heating in a water bath). Storage: amber glass bottle with dropper

7. Uses : For dissolving (removing) of ear wax.
