8. 9/28 Notes: Graphing Why graph your results? – It is the EASIEST way to see whether there is a relationship between 2 things (the IV and DV). – Graphs allow us to draw conclusions about the things that we are testing.

9. There are MANY different types of graphs, each with their own purpose.

10. Line Graphs Show 1 changing relationship. Begin with a DATA TABLE. – X – AXIS = IV (what you’re testing) – Y – AXIS = DV (what you’re testing the IV on) X valueY value

17. Independent Practice (10 pts) Do this on a SEPARATE piece of paper. You are to place it into the Assignment Box at the end of the period. If you finish early, you will begin the HW for tonight. The HW is 11 questions, worth 5 points. It is due tomorrow.
