3. User Interface Status (May 07) Current Status Requirements Capture phase complete …but much still to be finalised. Design and Basic Prototyping phase will involve: –Honing the requirement –Designing the architecture –Developing prototypes (Back-end and Portal) –Data transfer/management. User Interface Status (May 07) Questionnaire Review Main points from the questionnaire were: 21 people responded Plot configuration: –change the limits of the X and Y axes on a plot –colour map issues are important. Graphics formats: Acrobat (pdf), Postscript (ps), Portable Network Graphics (png) and Jpeg (jpg) Single selection page: Users would clearly prefer (78.9%) to be able to make selections all at once.

Data types: –Sample probabilistic data (26.3%) –Time series (31.6%) Data formats: –CSV format important - what about metadata? –And Shape files – for GIS applications.
