1 Works Cited Page

2 Works Cited Page Comb through your paper to find all of the sources you cited within your paper/speech. If you did not include the source within your paper/speech, do not include it in the Works Cited Page. The Works Cited Page is literally that: the Works you Cite within your speech. If you were to include all of the sources you consulted, you would create a bibliography (that is a different assignment).

3 Rules for a Works Cited Page
Consult your blue Writing Guidelines packet for specifics. Criteria for a Works Cited Page: Begin with a new page. Type the number (as it continues from your paper) on the upper right. Center the title Works Cited Page one inch from the top. DO NOT use all capital letters, bold, underline, or italics. Then leave one line between the title and the first entry. Begin each entry even with the one-inch margin. If the entry runs more than one line, indent one-half inch (tab). Double space (leave one line) in between each entry. Use single spacing for a single entry. List each entry by (1) author’s last name; (2) Title of article (3) Title of source/site Alphabetize all entries (discard “a”, “the” or “an” as the first word of a title for alphabetizing) Cite entries using MLA documentation (see MLA Documentation) See sample Works Cited Page for proper format
