3  Please access your account on TaskStream, a ‘teacher toolkit’ serves a variety of purposes for the work we do in EDN 303  On the top of the home page. Please click on the “Communication” tab. Then, please click on “Discussion Board”.  Find our class titled “EDN 303 001 Fall 2009”  Click on “Computer Use in the Classroom”  Click on “Create New Topic” AND  Post your response  Please don’t forget to “Reply” to your buddy’s post

4  Use the “Schedule” page to link to the “Student Edition Labs”  The textbooks web site titles this page “Computer Concepts Labs”  Link on “Spreadsheets” from the main menu of labs. There are over 30 labs listed. ◦ You may have to install software to run the labs if working at home…this is OK!  Complete the Online Lab

5  Finish the “Baseball” activity begun in class on Monday.  Refer to the “handouts” page for the word document with directions and the spreadsheet for calculations  Save the.doc and.exl files into your unit folder. They will be attached to your portfolio at the end of the semester

6  Please click on the “Book Resources” link on the course schedule page  Look under Chapter 3 and focus on the “Exercises” on the left of the page  These exercises are important for our class this semester: ◦ Key Terms ◦ Checkpoint ◦ Learn in online

7  Refer to the “Schedule” or “Handout” page for the Assignment for Unit 4 – all details are found there.  Open the Assignment from the class web site and prepare to do the following: ◦ Make and electronic grade book using MS Excel for your class ◦ Compare the scores of an individual student with that of the entire class through the use of a graph (use the Chart Wizard!) ◦ Use a MS Word document to develop and describe two lesson ideas that integrate the use of a spreadsheet in your curriculum area.  Save in your Unit 4 Folder – we will complete in class on Monday
