7 Norms and Standards Are the present norms and standards clearly defined or adhered to? Are the present norms and standards inclusive and child – girl friendly?

8 Progress Data Do we have the data about progress at national level? Do we report on separate toilets for girls? Who owns and uses the data?

10 Quality of Hygiene Education Is hygiene education integrated in national curricula? Are children at the center? Have we developed strategies to help girls to cope with change during adolescence?

11 Policies and Institutional Arrangements Are budget allocations available and sufficient? Do all new schools NOW include WASH facilities based on the norms? Did convergence happen: is the process owned by the education sector ? Does the WES specialist STEP IN with an EXIT STRATEGY in mind?
