2. Describe what the word compromise means to you. Think about a time when you compromised to solve a conflict. “Let’s agree to respect each other’s views, no matter how wrong yours may be.”

3.  A conflict is a disagreement. Name a reason why people might face conflicts.  How did you resolve your conflict? Read pages 210 – 211 on some steps how to resolve a conflict.  As we read the steps to “Resolving Conflicts,” think about what might happen if the steps aren’t followed.

4.  Write a paragraph describing how the two groups could work together to solve their conflict. Be sure to follow the steps:  1. Did the student clearly identify the conflict?  Did the student describe each group’s point of view?  Did the student identify a possible solution to the conflict?
