Late Special Projects will not receive higher than 70% after the due date, and will lose 10% for each additional day they are late. They will not be accepted more than a week after the due date.

13 If You Are Absent Check the website or call your Study Buddy to find out what you missed. Never ever ask, “Did I miss anything important?” You are responsible for turning in Absent work (with the word “Absent” written clearly on the top) to the basket. I will not remind you or ask for it! You are responsible for making up any missed tests/quizzes the day you get back during Silent Reading or Tutorial (*Unless you missed a significant number of days or there are special circumstances). – Absent work is not the same as late work! You have the same number of days you were absent to turn in the work and make up the tests for full credit. After that, they become late.

14 You Will Succeed in this class if you… Do your best work. Complete all your work. Put your name on your work. Bring your work to class. Turn your work in on time.
