3 The Design First, a marble rolls into a solid ball, rolling into a funnel Next, the marble rolls down the tube and hits a wooden piece that transfers its energy to a second marble. The second marble rolls down the remainder of the pipe until it knocks a platform off balance releasing a marble in the Newtons Cradle Finally, the Newtons Cradle knocks a wooden plank into the banner, releasing it for all to see

6 The Construction The design and construction came in 3 steps: Originally we had a projectile motion section, along with a series of dominoes, but those Ideas were quickly removed. The large ball for the marble to rotate into along with the center of mass platform were added in the place of these two concepts. Some of the items used for the design that were not initially in the blueprints were: -The handle of a vacuum -The stick of a broom -A set of mini bowling pins 1. Come up with a design 2. Completely redo that design 3. Build the new design with random items found in the workshop
