2 Her Childhood!!! Measha Bruggergosman was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on Jun 28 th, 1977. She is 32 years old! She began to sing in the choir of her local church.

3 Her Education… When she was a teen, she took voice lessons in Fredericton with… Mabel Doak!!! She also spent summers at the Boston Conservatory. That’s amazing!! And she pursued her master’s degree in music at Robert Schunann Hoch School in Dusseldorf, Germany. When she was a teen, she took voice lessons in Fredericton with… Mabel Doak!!! 4 Measha’s Career Measha created a signature role in the lead the lead of the premiere of the Opera Beatrice Chancy by James Rolfe, when she was 20. She also performed with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Montreal Orchestra, the National Arts Centre Orchestra and at the Roy Thomas Hall. And, she sang for the Queen Elizabeth II in 2002, the U.S Carnegie Halls Weill Recital Hall in 2001 and in London at Royal Albert Hall in 2003. 5 Measha’s Career Part II She won awards and honors at; Wigmore International song Competition in 2001, Jeianessess Musicals Montreal International Competition in 2002 and Oslo’s Queen Sonja International Music Competition in 2003.

6 Measha Bruggergosman sang into the telephone: “Je suis, tu es, il est, nous sommes, vous etes, ils sont! Je marche, tu marches, il marche, nous marchons, vous marchez, ils marchent!!!” It’s safe to say that French class never sounded so good!!

7 Measha’s great-great-great great grandfather fled slavery during the American Revolution to Shelburne, Nova Scotia in 1780. I’m thinking that he was pretty brave. Because I mean, he risked his life to have a better life and not be a slave.
