4 Chords and Progressions Mini Lesson – Major Chords I, IV, and V (1, 4, and 5) based off the first, fourth, and fifth note of the scale. Minor Chords The ii, iii, and vi chords (2, 3, and 6) chords are based off the second, third, and sixth chord of the scale.

List the style of music you selected, as well as the instruments on a sheet of paper with your group member’s names on it. This will be used for the next part of the project as well.
